Halifax Climate

Situated on the Atlantic Sea Coast, Metro Halifax tends to less extremes in its weather compared to more inland locations.

Our Springs come in April and early May and can be rainy and foggy but the warm summer ocean breezes quickly follow. Autumn in Nova Scotia is an artists dream, filled with warm days, cool nights and lots and lots of colour! Winter in Nova Scotia is usually quite moderate, swinging from rain to snow and back to rain all in one day.
